When I Fall In Love a Jazz classic written by Victor Young for the 1952 film One Minute To Zero. Miles Davis’s 1956 recording and Nat King Cole’s 1957 vocal established this song as a standard. Scott Hamilton’s version on his Live in London album is worth owning. My favorite piano versions are Bill Evan’s on his Portraits in Jazz, and Keith Jarrett’s Inside Out album has takes on this standard which are simply touching.
